Upwind opens new local office for community relations at Ayitepa

In order to liaise closely with the local population and the involved communities regarding our wind farm development at Ayitepa, we engaged several months ago with Mr. Francis Tsatsu Owulah a Community Liaison Officer (CLO). The CLO acts as point of contact for the local community and communicates key project information during the development and construction period of the wind park. Mr. Owulah also leads our Community Engagement Programme through consultations with local communities and stakeholders.

In the meanwhile, Upwind has opened a new office around the villages of Mangotsonya and Ayitepa at the coast of the Gulf of Guinea to act as drop-in centre for the local population: Everybody who would like to gather additional information related to our 225 MW wind farm development, to drop questions or concerns, to get the latest development news, to learn more about our community engagement efforts or just to sit in the shadow and discuss with our staff interesting issues is warmly welcomed to pay a visit. Located at the main road along the coast from Ningo to Akplabanya, our office is open throughout the week during office hours.

Interested parties can reach the CLO on +233 (0) 20 659 9512. Or just send him an e-mail on: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
